CAUDIT Managers Program

Following the successful delivery of the CAUDIT Managers Program (CMP) in 2020, we will again be offering placements in the 2021 program so that no-one misses out on their leadership training.  The program includes workshops on specific technical and engagement skills with an intimate cohort size conducive to online delivery mode.  Utilising engaging tools and interactive spaces will ensure that all participants have the ability to engage with the facilitator and to contribute to the many peer discussions throughout the program.

CAUDIT is a versatile and adaptive organisation that has the ability to adjust professional development programs that are designed by the sector for the sector, to suit current needs for member organisation workforce development.

The CAUDIT Managers Program generally runs over the course of several months and includes three group workshop sessions, one-on-one coaching sessions, practical assignments, senior meet & greets, and peer networking opportunities.  In 2021 we will deliver the program online with the training and coaching delivered by paceLEARNING.

  • Foundations of Effective Management
  • Leader as Coach
  • Self-Mastery and Resilience
  • The Art of Influence
  • Straight Talking
  • Empowered for Success – (presentations back to the group).
  • Goal Mapping
  • One-on-one personalised coaching sessions
  • Meet and Greet with CIOs from the sector
  • Peer networking within the sector

Who should attend?

New and existing middle managers and team leaders in information technology and information resources from CAUDIT member institutions.

How many can attend?

The program is limited to a maximum cohort of 20 participants per. 


How does it work?

The Program begins with you completing the Leadership Skills Inventory individual and peer assessment tool.  This gives you are foundation point to move forward with.  You will attend group sessions and take back the newly identified skills and tools to your workplace and look for real implementation opportunities.  You have the opportunity to learn from actual application.  You will receive one-on-one coaching in between the group sessions by the course facilitator who will assist you in finding practical resolutions to the situation/s presented to you.  Throughout the program participants share situational anecdotes and provide each other with approaches and suggestions so that everyone can learn from each others experiences.

What is the cost?

The cost for the program in 2021 is $2,900 including GST.  This includes training and coaching sessions, LSI 360-degree feedback tool at the beginning and end of the program, campus visits, lunches, morning and afternoon tea during the face-to-face sessions, and graduation dinner.


This is a recommended pathway towards the CAUDIT Leadership Institute.
