AHECS Cybersecurity Summit registrations open

CAUDIT along with AHECS Partners AAF, AARNet, AusCERT and REANNZ with the AHECS Cybersecurity Summit Program Committee are pleased to announce registration is now open for the inaugural AHECS Cybersecurity Summit.


Registration is free for staff of CAUDIT Member Institutions (in Australian, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and Fiji) and the AHECS partners. 

The theme for the Summit is Bridging the Gap and reflects on the shifts that must occur in addressing the disparity in cyber maturity and impacts of COVID-19 across the Higher Education and Research sector against the increasing technical capabilities, reach and sophistication of cyber-attacks. 

We are excited to announce Microsoft is the inaugural platinum sponsor for the Summit. For a change to win a Microsoft Surface Pro7 i5/8/256 with typecover and matching pen speak to a Microsoft representative at the Microsoft booth in the virtual exhibition.
Netskope have joined as silver and the inaugural village sponsor.
The Summit will commence on Monday 02 Nov 2020 with ‘Village' locations. These will be held in key capital cities to allow for face to face interaction and networking where this is safe to do so. Virtual connections are available as well to provide a participation opportunity for those unable to physically attend. Delegates at village locations will engage in local presentations and discussions followed by a dinner hosted by the village sponsor Netskope for those able to attend a physical location.
The online portion of the summit will commence at 10am AEDT Tuesday 03 Nov and concludes at 3pm AEDT Wednesday 04 Nov 2020. These two days will be filled with networking, keynote presentations, and more. The virtual sponsor’s exhibition space will be open from 10am AEDT Tuesday 03 Nov and close at 4pm AEDT Wednesday 04 Nov 2020.

Early Bird registrations submitted by Friday 02 October 2020 will receive a gift pack delivered to the address provided under Registrant Details. The gift pack will contain items curated specifically to enhance attendees’ experience at the inaugural AHECS Cybersecurity Summit. Registrations close Friday 23 October 2020.
