QUT Hosts CAUDIT Managers Program

Staff from CAUDIT member organisations began their journey through the CAUDIT Managers Program with the first face-to-face session hosted at QUT in Brisbane.

The 2019 cohort consists of 33 participants representing 21 organisations and are split into two concurrently run groups.  The decision to split the cohort into two groups was made to ensure that the small group size which is integral to the success of the program wasn’t impacted.  An overlap of the two groups occurred when they combined for the meet and greet with the senior IT representative from QUT, Scott Lowry, Acting Associate Director, and during peer networking with staff from QUT.

Participants received value from sessions relating to management and leadership styles and behaviours along with a practical session on being a successful coach which is a really important skill to have to empower your staff.

Participants will have opportunity to begin implementing their personal action plans within their work environments before undertaking one-on-one coaching with program facilitator Greg O’Brien of PaceLearning.

The two groups will hold their next face-to-face session at the University of Technology, Sydney in August.
