CAUDIT Member Representatives are surveyed annually to determine the most significant technology-related topics engaging ICT leaders across Australasia’s universities and research institutions. The CAUDIT Top Ten is a vital tool that highlights the emerging and current technology-related priorities that are seen as strategically important for ICT leaders in the Australasian higher education and research sectors.
Benchmarking
Every year since 2003, CAUDIT Members have shared data through the CAUDIT Benchmarking System. This collective effort informs the annual State of ICT report and, soon, will be complemented by access to data and insights through an online data access service.
CAUDIT Member Representatives (CIOs/IT Directors and their authorised staff) can access the data, with use guided by our Appropriate Use Policy.
Survey Service
The CAUDIT Survey Service helps members gather insights from colleagues across the sector on any topic or issue. On request, CAUDIT will facilitate the entire survey process — from advice on design, to data collection, and summary reporting. We make the results and underlying data available through the surveys archive on our website, providing value not only to the initiating institution but to the wider sector as well.
Coming Soon: CAUDIT Online Data Access Service (CODAS)
CAUDIT is currently developing the CAUDIT Online Data Access Service (CODAS) to give Member Representatives easier access to strategic sector data in the form of reports and interactive dashboards.
CODAS will provide a single access point for data and reports across
CAUDIT's Benchmarking dataset, covering IT investment, staffing, student load, key ICT sector indicators, primary systems, and implemented applications
the CAUDIT Top Ten

publicly available sector data, including government datasets, QILT student satisfaction with ICT, capital and operating expenditure (Victorian universities only), and WEGA gender and diversity data.
Members will be able to explore insights at both the individual university and sector level.
