Alex was the CIO at Murdoch University from 2021 to 2024 and is now working in a CIO Advisory role at Charles Sturt University. He has global experience across many industries, with the last 10 in higher education, initially at Edith Cowan, then Murdoch, and now Charles Sturt.
Alex's career has been significantly shaped by consulting interspaced with key transformation delivery roles in the Travel, Superannuation and most recently Higher Education industries.
Alex is passionate about transforming staff and student experiences through sustainable technology delivery. He continuously seeks to transform the technology landscape, delivery models and team culture through leadership development and cross-functional collaboration.
Alex moved to Australia in 2012 soon after his two daughters were born to enjoy the amazing WA lifestyle and be nearer to their large extended family.
