THETA 2023 commences in Brisbane.

The Higher Education Technology Agenda Conference (THETA) has returned after a four-year hiatus, and the opening night was a highly anticipated social event for colleagues from across the sector.

Held on 16 April 2023 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, the Welcome Reception was an opportunity for delegates to come together and connect after a long period without face-to-face interactions. The evening was filled with excitement and energy, as attendees connected and caught up with old friends and new colleagues. Delegates also had the chance to interact with the exhibitors and sponsors whose generous support has made THETA 2023 possible.

The resounding commentary from the night was how good it felt to be able to connect in person after a long period of remote working and online meetings.

"It is incredible to be back in person at THETA after such a long break due to the pandemic. We are thrilled that over 650 professionals from across the sector have joined us in Brisbane. The energy here tonight is palpable and the exciting and inspiring conversations have already begun" said Greg Sawyer, CAUDIT CEO.

THETA MC Jillian Whiting officially opened the event and encouraged attendees to make the most of the official program starting on Monday 17 April 2023.
