Meet the CAUDIT Leadership Institute Faculty

The last few years of change and challenge have shone a spotlight on the pivotal role leadership plays in the success of our Institutions. Developing strong leaders is now a critical task for organisations worldwide.

The CAUDIT Leadership Institute aims to nurture higher education and research professionals to be the leaders the sector needs most - high performing, strategic and innovative. The program has a strong track record of equipping emerging leaders across HE in Australia and New Zealand with exemplary leadership skills and abilities.

The CLI is designed by the sector, for the sector and this sector specific nature is reflected in the CLI Faculty. The CLI Faculty are senior professionals from higher education, drawn from Australia and the United States. They are committed professionals with years of experience managing information resources in the context of higher education, and are knowledgeable and skilled presenters, with a passion for the development of the sector’s future leaders.

The CLI faculty consists of a maximum of seven members. As a collective, they are responsible for reviewing and preparing the content that will be taught at the Institute and delivering it during the week-long immersive program. In addition to content delivery, the CLI Faculty mentor participants during the program.

  • Adrian Dillon, Chief Information Officer, University of Tasmania
  • Warwick Calkin, Executive General Manager, Navitas and ex CIO University of Western Australia
  • Naomi Lutvey, Director Client Services, University of Southern Queensland
  • Michael Cato, Senior VP and CIO, Bowdoin College, USA
  • Linda Jorn, Assoc VP Learning Technologies, University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA (ret)

The CAUDIT Leadership Institute will run from Monday 8 through to Friday 12 August 2022 at the Intercontinental Sanctuary Cove Resort, Queensland.
